Third straight top-five for Gus Dean at Michigan

Start Date: 16 June, 2017 - 12:00AM

Last weekend at Michigan International Speedway, the Bluffton, S.C. native looked assured a podium finish in the Irish Hills, but a blown tire exiting Turn 2 on the last lap sent the No. 32 GREE Cooling Products Toyota from third to fifth.

Not all was lost though, as Dean wrestled his bruised car to its sixth top-10 finish of 2017.

“I’m extremely proud of this Win-Tron Racing team,” said Dean. “Our No. 32 GREE Cooling Products Toyota was stout that last run and we were able to get a lot of spots. We fought the battles of Michigan and it’s going to make us stronger in the long run.”
