MASHONIT Apparel Co. adds Jordyn Twitty to athlete roster

BARNWELL, S.C.: Officials from MASHONIT Apparel Co., a brand fitted for those who live life wide open announced today the signing of 17-year-old Jordyn Twitty as their newest branded athlete.

Twitty, a native of Barnwell, S.C. is a current and the only female competitor in the One-ton Elite Sniper Series and completes in the One-ton V-Tread Mud Truck division.

A second-generation seven-year racer behind her father Russell Twitty, she is turning heads in competition locally and nationally. In addition to competing in up to eight events a year in South Carolina and its surrounding areas, she also travels to eight more events across the southeast.

Twitty will compete in her mud-truck this weekend in Waldo, Fla. and will be decked out in the  MASHONIT Apparel Co. brand, while debuting a new fire suit that boasts a females touch.

“I’m incredibly thankful to have the support of MASHONIT Apparel Co.,” said Twitty. “Being a female competitor, it’s important to me to brand myself with companies that I can growth with, while also doing my part to help them reach their goals and initiatives.

MASHONIT is still a relatively new apparel company, but they are changing the way when it comes to being a lifestyle brand and I’m eager to develop my relationship with them.”

With the goal and desire to win, Twitty has already proven herself as a winner in her respective mud truck division and while she has mounted two top-five finishes this year in an abbreviated schedule because of the coronavirus pandemic, she is eager to head to the Sunshine State and get her first win of the season decked out in the MASHONIT Apparel Co. colors.

“I’m ready for Florida this weekend,” Twitty, a six-time winner said. “The competition is tough, and the action is dirty but there’s only one goal for me this weekend and that’s to MASHONIT and get my team in Victory Lane.”

Outside of her mud truck, Twitty keeps busy with other forms of competition including soccer and riding horses and recently started her senior year at Barnwell High School.

She is also grooming her 13-year-old brother Wyatt who also competes in the V-Tread Mud Truck division.

In addition to Twitty, MASHONIT Apparel Co. also supports two-time ARCA Menards Series winner and current NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series (NGROTS) competitor and Bluffton, S.C. native Gus Dean.
