QUOTING GUS DEAN:

“The Kentucky Speedway has a lot of similarities to the Chicagoland Speedway and the Kansas Speedway. The track has some bumps, and the aging surface often produces good racing. Our No. 12 OverkillRV.com Chevrolet Silverado had a solid weekend at the Chicagoland Speedway, so we have some momentum on our side going to this weekend at the Kentucky Speedway.

“I’d like to build on our top-15 finish though and earn the No. 12 Young’s Motorsports team a top-10 finish on Thursday night.”

Season-to-date … Through the first 12 NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series races of the 2019 season, Gus Dean has completed 1450 of 1950 laps contested (74.4 percent), and is currently 16th in the driver point standings, and 20th in the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series owner points. In addition, the Young’s Motorsports driver has spent 467 laps running in the top 15 and has made 394  green-flag passes thus far this season.
