Quoting Gus Dean:
ON KANSAS SPEEDWAY: “It was another pretty solid weekend for our Young’s Motorsports team. We were able to show that we had a lot of speed in qualifying with a career-best qualifying effort of eighth-place. During the race, we struggled with a tight-handling condition of our No. 12 OverkillRV.com Chevrolet Silverado and, unfortunately, that plagued us all night along. Together we came home with another solid top-15 finish, and we’re making gains – that is what’s important.”
ON CHARLOTTE MOTOR SPEEDWAY: “I love the Charlotte Motor Speedway. It’s an extremely fast track, but I am excited to go there and have the opportunity to race for a top-10 finish with Young’s Motorsports. We had the opportunity to test our Chevrolet Silverado a couple of weeks ago and we learned a lot at the test session. I know my crew chief Jeff (Stankiewicz) has a good game plan to execute during race weekend.
“LG Air Conditioning Technologies is back on the truck this weekend, and I would like to have a good run for them in the team’s backyard.”
ON THE RETURN OF LG AIR CONDITIONING TECHNOLOGIES: “I am stoked about having LG Air Conditioning Technologies back onboard this weekend at the Charlotte Motor Speedway. They have a suite for the race, and are expecting a lot of guests – so, it is great to see them taking every advantage of their partnership with Young’s Motorsports and I hope I can deliver a satisfying finish on Friday night.”
ON RUNNING AN ARCA RACE AT CHARLOTTE MOTOR SPEEDWAY: “Always excited to compete in the ARCA Racing Series – especially with Win-Tron Racing and crew chief Jamie Jones. I cannot thank CAB Installers enough for making it happen. We have a fast car for the race, and I’m looking forward to going there and contending for our first win of the 2019 season.”
